Aircraft Leasing

We specialize in Aircraft Leasing.

This is where the Lessor provides the aircraft, with one or more complete crews (flight deck, cabin attendants and engineers) including their salaries but usually not their daily allowances, all maintenance for the aircraft and insurance, which usually includes hull and third party liability. The Lessor will charge for the block hour (chock off to chock on) and depending on the aircraft type, sets a minimum guaranteed block hours limit per month. If the aircraft flies or not, the Lessee must pay the amount for the minimum guaranteed block hours. The period can vary from one month to usually one to two years. Everything less than one month can be considered as ad-hoc charter.

Jetstreme specialize in providing aircraft on a global scale to the following sectors:

Humanitarian: We support relief/emergency activities by providing short/long term leases as well as urgent go-now requirements.

  • Airline: We provide capacity support to both existing and startup airlines by providing them with aircraft on a branded wet lease.
  • Oil and Gas: Auditing  has been done by a number of oil and gas companies within the region for ACMI operations.

Dry Leases

This is normally the lease of the basic aircraft without crew, maintenance only insurance. A typical dry lease starts from six months onwards and bears certain conditions as far as depreciation, maintenance, insurances are concerned. This depends on the geographical location, political circumstances etc.

    Sales & Leaseback

This is an arrangement in which an operator leases aircraft for a long term. By doing so, this allows full use of the asset while not having capital tied up.

Jetstreme is able to provide airlines/operators with a lease to purchase option on all aircraft types.
